Lumix Festival for Visual Journalism (finalist)
July 2020

Our digital storytelling production 'Grit and Grass', created by Saskia Houttuin and Joost Bastmeijer, was a Finalist in the Digital Storytelling contest of the yearly Lumix Festival for Visual Journalism in Hanover. The production was created in Nigeria's Plateau State, for Dutch radio programme Bureau Buitenland (NPO Radio 1 / VPRO).

March 2020

Second Prize in Dutch Photjournalism Award 'De Zilveren Camera', 2019. About the winning photo: In March 2019, Hurricane Idai caused a lot of damage in central Mozambique, heavy rains caused major problems. Twenty-eight-year-old Isabel Daniel and her three children spent days on a roof before they were paid. Together with three hundred others, they survived by drinking rainwater.
