Vanilla Island Madagascar Fears for Its Future -- The Bitter Taste of the Trade War

Vanilla farmers in Madagascar are worried about Donald Trump's trade war: three-quarters of their vanilla production goes to the US. But the country has been hit with a trade tariff of a whopping 47 percent. "People will choose imitation vanilla."
