For Dutch newspaper Reformatorisch Dagblad, I wrote a reportage piece about the newest development in France: after weeks of protests in ‘lycée’s’ all over France, University students are now joining the high school pupils’ cause. The students I spoke with say the high schoolers have inspired them to also flock to the streets and demand better education. In what they call a ‘convergence des luttes’, their protest will lead towards large, nation-wide manifestation on 17 October.
